A DAY FOR FRIENDS AND SEWING

My Piecemakers' Bee took a road trip to Decherd Needleworks.

This is Carol who organized our sewing day and gave us instructions for making a spiral table runner using a ten degree ruler.

We made our strata and then we cut out the wedges with the ruler

Sandi is cutting her wedges.

We started sewing our wedges together.  This was very exciting because it began to take shape.

Phyllis and Suzan working on strata and strips.

This is Linda sorting strips in her lap.

We had a great bag lunch provided by a catering shop close by.

I thought these were the cutest little brown bags called "The Patch Sack".

After lunch our completed table runners began to emerge.

These were really looking good as we laid them out on our tables.

Finally, we had them finished and decided to "model" our pieces.

Looks like we are ready for the main stage in Las Vegas!  LOL
What a great, fun day!!!
