THREAD CATCHER


I love these two fabrics.  Of course, I love flamingos of any kind.

My friends, Linda and Sharon, each had one of these little thread catchers.
Soooo . . . I made one . . .

Isn't this the cutest thing?  It is just the right size to catch all my loose threads when I am doing my hand projects.
I adore these little buttons I found in my button drawer.Now I am all set to sew away.

    Sandi this is so cute and you know what...I love all things flamingo too. I did not know that you loved them too.....yeah Very Cute..

      Thanks, Sharon. It only took me about 30 minutes to make it. It is so tiny, but perfect for strings. Too many years living in Florida -- gotta love the flamingos.

    Sandi that is just the cutest! No wonder we click - I LOVE flamingos - I NEED to make one too, have just the perfect flamingo fabric waiting in the wings...where can I find the pattern?

      My friend shared a copy of the pattern. I think you might try http://www.lisabongean.files.wordpress.com and go to her Sep 30, 2011 post. I was not able to get to the pattern instructions myself. If you cannot access it please email me your mailing address and I will send you a copy.
